Iran -footballer barred from attending Asian championship

An Iranian women’s football team will be without its captain at the Asian championship in Malaysia next week after her husband resorted to a bogus excuse and invoked his right under Iranian regime’s so-called Islamic law to bar her from travelling, AFP reported on Thursday.
